Nice old threadless in a dark amber with an olive hue. I would hesitate to call the color a straight amber but I wouldn't call it olive amber either. This piece came from the Magnetic Telegraph Line here in New Jersey. It was found along with a group of Boston and Oakman pinslots, as well as some other threadless, back in the early 1990s. The condition is pretty nice for this style. There's a small scratch on the dome, a 1/2 pinky nail size flat flake chip on the lower wire ridge, and see the second picture for a base chip/open bubble combination. All this damage is on the same side. The condition sounds really rough but it's not. The insulator displays VVNM. This was one of the best of the 731s for condition in the find; most had large base and wire ridge chips. $350.00 includes shipping costs.
