The three commemoratives I am listing today are from a set produced by Canadian glass artisan Mark Lauckner. This particular style, very closely resembling a threadless CD 718 insulator, was produced in 1996 to celebrate 150 years of telegraph in Canada, and they were produced in a variety of incredible colours. These are base embossed with TELEGRAPH IN CANADA 1846-1996 and are signed, numbered and dated inside the pinhole. The first one is a bubble filled Cobalt Blue colour, and is numbered 49 of 50. There is a slight bit of wear on some of the letters on the base embossing and a tiny bruise on the base edge, likely where some of the overpoured base broke when coming out of the mold. Just an awesome item that will look great backlit or underlit. Asking $27 + shipping. Thanks for looking!
