I found these three Sunday while searching for a gas station... I dropped my son off at soccer practice and went in search of a gas station Sunday morning. A short time later I was crossing a track and decided why not? Lets take a quick look around... I walked about 100 yads when I noticed several poles laying on the ground behind some old wharehouses up ahead...I approached and found these three on the ground partially covered with snow. Two nights soaking and a rub down and voila! This is my first large spool found so I am very pleased! You can't tell by the picture, but it is actually a very light ice-blue color and has a large whisp of milk through one side! There were several more spools still attached to the fallen poles, but they were in very bad shape...so I left them. Enjoy the picture.
