I took a few pictures back in September on a road that crosses part of the JA ranch. The JA was started by Charles Goodnight in the 1870's. I've known about this road for years and finally got around to having a look at it. All these poles are short, only 10 or 12 feet tall. This one is overgrown by mesquite.
