While digging into a well behind a vintage 1907 house in a tiny town in San Diego county, these Star ponies were found. They came from about 10 feet down and were in various sections of the well hole. All were damaged, they all had the same damage in the same area of the skirt. Maybe knocking them from the pins? I have recovered around 16 insulators from digging in old wells and outhouse pits. I sure wish we had the age here that they have in the East for some possible threadless examples.
