Contractors were removing an Illinois Power line near Edwardsville, IL. These poles originally served the Illinois Terminal Railroad. I asked about getting the mud, they said have at it. What they had already taken down was tossed in the pole holes and buried. The foreman said he'd save the rest for me to haul off. Whenever I see pictures of Jim Decker's white Ford stuffed with utility garbage, I have to do a double take and make sure it isn't one of my pics.
