The first day we found the contractors, the person who tipped us off said there were no insulators left along the five mile stretch cut down. He said people were out there stopped on the side of the highway scopping them up in buckes. Not believing this could be possible, we checked out the job. He was right. Everything was gone, and we couldn't believe it. Well, I guess I should say almost everything. This 1049 spool was still on a bracket, I supposed because it didn't come off like the rest of the glass. I'm glad they left this one behind.
