These insulators, when made must have been a lot more expensive to make in comparison to the normal insulators we are used to seeing, this bugger is huge! Embossed only "No 3 CABLE",this is an unembossed Hemingray piece in a gorgeous dark aqua blue colour. These pieces were used for cable cars, steel plants, and other places where large diameter, high voltage cables were used to power large equipment. This insulator is very clean, no damage to the ears which are rather delicate at tips and easily damaged, and displays faaaantastic when backlit or set in a bright sunny windowsill. VVNM, has some chunks taken out of the inner skirt but that does not affect it's displayability. Insulator is backlit with flourescent lighting, any other colour than dark aqua blue seen is digital echo and is not true. Book on these are $40.
