I'm not sure if this one is made of white milk glass or some composite formulation (seller says it's porcelain, but it doesn't look to be), I'll post the results here when it arrives in a couple of weeks. Couple minor base chips, and some smudges and soot which can be removed, if needed. Embossing (Cyrillic lettering) reads as follows: AS-25 / ShSSL-10 / 1964 THis one arrived, it appears to be made of some form of white glass like substance. It is definitely not porcelain, but also does not have the usual "milk glass" appearance. It definitely needs a long soak in Oxalic, to get the soot and wire rubs, dirt and old spider webs,, etc off. After a couple of days soaking in Oxalic acid, and some mild scrubbing, it is looking a LOT better. All the gray soot under the skirt is now gone, and only a few traces of wire rubs are left. It looks to be a CD 247.5, has the "standard" model number and date, but no obvious manufacturer's mark. Photo provided by seller. Little historical note: Belarus used to be called Byelorussia, which means "White Russia". Not to be confused with the "adult beverage" called "White Russian" which consists of Kalhua, coffee brandy milk and (optional) vodka.
