Offered up for sale tonight is a milky swirled Straight Side CD 127. Embossing: W. Brookfield 55 Fulton St N.Y. Pat April 4 1871. I don't have my book in front of me but I believe this is the embossing index [140]. Nice clear aqua ...Very light wire groove rub and a 1/4" no glass missing impact bruise just about dead centre on the top of the dome. Dome embossed with a "2". Easily grades VVN M. These are an extremely tough piece to find in this condition. One inch of dome glass and a 6 1/2" milk swirl makes this old dude a killer display! Priced at 45.00 plus shipping.
