typical Tacoma Power a / b selector switch from the double 115kv Lagrande line. TP is the only utility I've seen that uses this type of setup. All the subs along Hwy. 7 / spanaway area are branched off this line in a similar fasion. Both swtiches can be closed at the same time 'bridging' the 2 circuits but this is never done. The open switch has a red do not operate tag on the handle and is locked.
