A view up from the ground of the shiny new East side "tower" or "tube" or steel pole or whatever it's called. They really bother me, they are massive, this one in particular. Behind us is a bluff. The old tower was shorter and the line went UP to a wooden pole on top of the bluff. This behemoth is as tall as the pole on the bluff and the wires are now nearly level ! Kent Anderson photo.
