A view up from the ground of the East side tower before it was recently de-wired. The construction style looks archaic to me when one is used to modern towers. Care to guess how many bolts are on it? But they have stood the test of time. They were the oldest river crossing towers in Portland. There is an Osprey's nest on top of this one! Kent Anderson photo.
