This is the most brilliant clear early HG signal I have ever seen. It has to be pretty darn colorless to even stand close to the benchmark of all clear insulators, the 128 Pyrex. As you can see, this one is pretty close for an 1880's piece of glass. Still in service up until about a month ago, a pair of them came off poles about 3 spans apart. I found another one in a more ice green color not too far away.
