In addition to CREB 145 beehives, I specialize in Brookfield CD 136 B&Os. I've even written an article on them in CJOW. Still, until recently I never noticed the embossing variations on the older style Brookfield 136s (not the CREBs). I've tried to show the different sizes of embossing on the patent date around the crown using a ruler and the digital zoom feature of my camera. Here's a pic of one with larger embossing. I've seen very few of these in comparison to the smaller embossing molds.
