Tripple petticoat N & S hi voltage cable

These were used on this N & S track and were hi voltage use, they were taken down and had been used to carry over 1,000 voltage current. I have no idea what the railroad needed such hi current for but they did for their own reasons. Insulator is thick porcelain and nicely coloured, plus, unlike a lot of small cables, this one is a tripple petticoat.
