A car drove into the Insulator Field. There were a few folks wandering about the field looking at the displays so I went over to introduce my self. The visitors were Yvonne and her friend. Both have recently become interested in insulators and wish to learn how to climb poles . They know a couple of collectors in the Lillooet area, and saw the Merritt Insulator Show advertised on ICON. Yvonne had emailed me a few days earlier, so I was pleased to be able to meet her and talk insulators with her. Yvonne and her friend mentioned they knew of a few places where the poles have not been torn down, so perhaps we can get them climbing for some of the few remaining insulators in the air.
