These "things" feel like a light metal. The rods are under one inch in diameter and six inches in length. Some rods are smooth while others have grooves down the entire lenth. The "ring" on the end of some rods appears to be a porcelain-like material. Many of these have been unearthed at Elmer, New Jersey. Any guesses would be appreciated.
