U-106 NN Brown

ID: U-106 NAME: NN COLOR: Brown Firing Rest: s-r Marking type: -

DESCRIPTION - An INCREDIBLY crudely glazed toll. The light cocoa brown glaze did not adhere properly to the body of the insulator, making these huge gaps between glazed areas. After closer examination, it is possible that this was caused by a direct lightning strike, but still, the result is hard to believe. There is one point on the lower wire ridge, that has the appearance of a lightning strike, with another spot on the lower skirt to the left that looks like a possible exit point. This is the porcelain twin for the CD 121.

CONDITION - VVNM except for the possibility of it being from lightning, this is excellent condition. Couple small glazed over chips from the factory, but other than a flake or 2 and some very light scratching on the dome, this is factory crude!
