Here's about 500 crossarms (some with glass and porcelain on them) that we have managed to go through over the summer. The 10 foot cross arms have every imaginable peg configuration - wood, steel, lead, steel with plastic inserts, steel with cobs, etc. Most still have the 'brand' on them and the majority seem to have come from Oregon. A lot of the glass is common and much is damaged or broken, but there have been a number of great finds for our collection. The white barrels are filled with insulators and there are piles of insulators everywhere you look. It's great to have an opportunity like this, but it's sad to see the signal lines coming down forever.
