This is how we pump juice onto the power circuit. the grey "Box" is a transformer. It takes the 120/240 split phase and steps it up to (most likely) 440 Volts AC. This and the rest of the pole line segment between the Martin Marietta asphalt plant and Downtown Colorado Springs is now gone in July 2020
