If you can tolorate a bit of damage, you can add a really neat item to your collection. This CD 134 is skirt embossed PETTINGELL ANDREWS CO BOSTON. The color is a nice crisp blue. There is a base chip a hair over 1 1/4" long just below the BOSTON embossing. It rides up into the skirt 1/8" in one spot. That area of the insulator is not normally the display side. On the skirt, above the ANDREWS there is a glass scrape 1/4" long and wide. You can spot that in the photo. Then on the wire groove there is a 1/2" chip on the underside of the upper ridge above the PETTINGELL embossing. Then a smaller, shallow ridge chip above the S in ANDREWS. Still looks pretty good though, doesn't it? Mint, this is a $300+ insulator, but it's not mint, for sure. How about if I drop the price to $165 and I'll pay the shipping? |
