The guys in NY discovered these years ago on what I believe they called the Round Lake Trolley line. I've seen a few of these over the years, most with damage. Some have been repaired but it's one of those pieces that doesn't look that hot after the surgeon has finished the operation, if you know what I mean. What makes this CD unique is the four braces between the skirt and the first inner skirt. The color of this one is a nice sharpe blue. The condition is exceptional for an insulator this size. There is a bruise on the first innner skirt and one really small chip or flake on the base. As you look at the picture you note one of the braces . Just to the left of the brace along the base you can see the chip. Pretty small. On the skirt there is a spot of excess glass. Looks like it touched another insulator while the glass was still warm. This piece was in Kevin Lawless' collection and is certainly head and shoulders above what you will see offered elsewhere. Price guide values this piece between $600 and $800 depending on color. This one should be right in that price range, but I want this piece to sell (fast I hope). With that in mind, I'm offering this great piece of power from one of the great collections for $475 plus shipping.
