My son and I found this broken dining car plate on a very steep bank along the old abandoned Southern Pacific. This has been through a couple of soaks, but it will take a lot to ever get this clean. The bank it was discarded on was backfilled with mine tailings. Very heavy mineral deposits. We also found a piece of cuprite, (native copper) on that same bank.
