For your bemusement and potential acquisition this evening, I have a number of porcelain insulators up for sale. These are pieces I have found to be of interest, and in all the cases, are insulators which have always greatly appealed to me!

The first of these insulators is this Canadian Porcelain U-705. I admit I'm pricing it slightly more than the porcelain guide recommends - but it is only a guide, that should always be remembered. In my 5 years of collecting, I have only ever encountered 3 of these marvelous power pieces. The piece exhibits the classic Canadian Porcelain glaze of a sort of brownish-caramel colouration, and is in very near mind condition, with only a slight amount of nearly invisible scratching on the base, and a very small portion on the rear shoulder. The CP marking is loud and proud. There is a nicely arranged trimming error, so that the skirt is crooked in spots, in addition to the characteristic Canadian Porcelain dark-coloured glaze droplets visible on the base.

From the first time I ever encountered one, with it's thick, heavy build, and generous quantity of skirts, I have liked them. Methinks you will, as well.

I'm asking $5 U.S. plus shipping for this most beauteous piece. I accept personal cheques from any member of ICON, or from anyone I've dealt with in the past.

All the best!
