The Benefits of Field Walking.

They are numerous!

Though not for the faint of heart, walking long distances through farmer's fields along abandoned ROWs in existence since the 1850s can pay off! This is evident by my father's luck on the 1st of July, 2006, when we decided to walk a section of rail line where a large portion of the grade had been reclaimed as field. My father spotted a doubled threaded, unembossed CD 143 at the base of a corn stalk, and the rest is history! Here he is holding the trophy which is rightfully to be called his!

I had a chance to show off my happy dance once again.
