OK, OK, yea, rare, is it? Well, to the best of my knowledge, three are known. I recently got another, thus this one is for sale. That quality for "RARE"? OK, I thought so... ;-) Perhaps I guess you perhaps should say "very rare"? You can decide... I suspect few of you even know this exists, and even less have seen it...

We assume it is a Hemingray Saleman's sample, probably circa 1940? it is a full sized UNEMBOSSED CD 106 !!! Pyroglazed lettering reads on the front in yellow letters on a dark blue background "HEMINGRAY / ANOTHER [OI logo] PRODUCT" and on the rear dark blue italic lettering on a yellow background "World standard / since 1870". The insulator is mint. There is a flea bite or two on the paint. The background on the front is more of a olive green, and the writing on the back a dark blue. Both of these are too dark in the photo.

You know this has to be the real thing, because where are you going to get an UNEMBOSSED CD 106 to play with? They obviously made these before they engraved the mold. You will know if you want it, so I don't have to tell you what audience I think might like it... Please feel free to ask any questions about it. I guarantee it is 100% authentic and produced by Hemingray.

As always, satisfaction guaranteed... $750 ppd and insured in the US.
