Pierre's original plans were to be at the Merritt Insulator Show, coming up on May 27-28, 2006. He had hoped to be able to meet all the insulator collectors at the Merritt Insulator Ranch. Unfortunately, there was a visa foul-up, and Pierre had to alter his travel plans, which resulted in his arrival some 10 days early. After 2 years of trans-Atlantic trading, it was great to meet the person on the other end of some wonderful swaps. Pierre is a wonderfully enthusiastic individual whose other collecting interests also include vintage radios and light bulbs. Most of the French insulators pictured here have been aquired form Pierre in trades and I look forward to many more years working with him. It was great being able to finally meet him in person
