Never thought you could get this close to bees without being stung 10,000 times !! Cool weather and the fact they were not in a hive they would normally protect, gave me an opportunity of a lifetime to check them out up close. Neighbors and wife thought this was crazy (for me what isn't ? ). However, got wife, couple of neighbors and my 12 year old son to touch them as well. Just amazing !! Beekeeper returned just at dusk and vacuumed them up and put them in a new hive. Glad we were able to save them !!!
