Was out for a weekend scouting mission. Came upon this farmer line that tied two ranches together with the outside world. This thing ran for more than 25 miles ! Someone spent a LOT if money to get a phone connection ! Construction was spare (note single crossarm brace) but fairly well built for a private line. Appears to have been built (or rebuilt) in the 50's, as all the glass was 50's vintage Hemi - 9 106's. Transpositions were done by alternating crossarms and sidepins to flip the wires.
