While not common, I have seen plenty of smooth base McLaughlin 154's over the years. But this is a new one. Not listed in the book, it is the big hoopy-skirted variant without No.42, ... rather it reads "McLAUGHLIN - 42". I spoke with Fred Padgett and several other specialists. No one had ever heard of such a piece. Anyone else ? Thanks for the feedback.
