Colorful mud sure is popular ! Here is another group of various shapes and colors. L to R : I think this is a U-670. No doubt a Victor, but I can see no marking. Could use a good cleaning. Color is a pretty reddish mahogany. Next is a drippy blue signal. Photo washes these light colors out, but good color separation on this one. Next is a series of three of the same shape. The first one is a mottled olive green with greyish cast. Insulator has scour marks under the glaze, as if someone spun it on a wheel while rubbing 36 grit sandpaper on it. This one has a little roughness at the sharp upper WG edge. Next is a super drippy-mottled unit with color ranging from golden yellow to orange to brown, Has two burst bubbles poking through the glaze. Great color and character piece. Fingernail size chip to underside of sharp WG edge on reverse. Next is a light, greenish grey dude with those sandpaper marks all over it under the glaze. Some pretty good drippy going on here too. Next is a cute little dude with a really neat blue glaze. Color is similar to new blue jeans - a dark indigo. Glaze is heavy and full of white bits that look like salt granules. Super cool old blue mud ! Next is another drippy light blue with more of a rounded dome and a slightly darker color. Last is the smallest HI TOP I have seen with ears. Only small one I have ever seen with the VICTOR "V" in a square incused in the skirt too. $100 plus postage for the lot. |
