Shown are the two pieces of best condition in the entire lot. The piece on the left has a 2" gash from the front skirt, but displays mint from the rear. On the right... well, I think you can see what's wrong with it. Still, there wasn't too much glass missing. Most of the insulators had large pieces of the skirt broken off, some missing ears, others broken directly in half - some all three! No matter, though - just to see that sparkling colour surrounded by the bright, spring foliage & dirt of a near-virgin bottle dump was enough to send my heart into a paroxysm of sheer joy!

I kept these two examples. If anyone is interested in badly broken carnival glass, just let me know!
