Two Fred Locke M-2430 multiparts from the 1903 Trinity County, California power line and an M-2430 gray Victor, in the author's collection. The center insulator shows a cement joint overpour, a result of careless assembly in the field.

Since the photos in my new article in Issue 13 of POWER LINE EXPLORER JOURNAL are in black and white, I thought it would be appropriate to show the photos in color. Those of you who are already subscribers to this great little magazine, will be able to look at the book and these photos together and see them in color. Enjoy!
