Had the opportunity to spend about 5 hours hunting yesterday, but nearly quit about halfway in because we hadn't found any promising sites or pieces after we found the 1/3 chunk of a 742 dome early on. However, Debbie saves the day by saying "Let's go just a little further", and sure enough, things begin to improve! The intact CD 742 was the first find, and at the final pole site, we were greeted by the base edges of the CD 143 Montreal Telegraph and two of the four Dwight Patterns poking out of the ground (the other two Dwights were totally buried). The 742 dome was also found nearby. At this point, we had a lo-oo-o-ng walk back to the van and the temperature was dropping rapidly, but it would have felt much colder had we not been carrying any goodies! One of our better hunts in recent months...
