Having a large sales territory allows me to stop at many Antique Stores while travelling away from home. This particular insulator was about 75% covered with black soot, but I could see the milk swirls and was hoping that the whole piece would be "with milk swirls" by definition. Initially I passed off the color as light aqua, but you can bet I was surprised when it turned out to be lime green! This more than made up for the lack of milk swirls and reinforced the old saying, "you never know what you have until you clean it up".
