On Saturday, March 25th I gained a new backyard ornament! Pat Scott brought me a nice pole from St. Louis along with 4 nice crossarms. Pat Barkwell from Raytown joined us for the fun. We talked and swapped insulators, and planted this pole in my yard. What a great time! Here's Yours Truly with the finished pole. We put 46 insulators on this pole (counting the tramp bracket, 3 j-brackets, and a side pin). These are all common varieties found in the midwest (beehives, Hemi-40s and 42s, a few CD 115s and a couple Hemingray ponies. I'll probably swap them around from time to time. |
