The "sport" of stone throwing at insulators have many fans on Ireland! This pole is a good proof of that, isn't it? Amazingly quite a number of the pieces seems to be unharmed, at least from a distance. This pole sports many "cowhorn" brackets used for transposition. On the third crossarm from the top, to the right, sits four of the biggest pattern Cordeaux, nicknamed "Fatties" by us. They are U-1555. These are all pure white ones. In the evening I managed to make my way thru the thorns and climb a pole, not this one, and get one such cowhorn with Fatties down.
