Another nice Russian piece, courtesy of Andy Wadsyz, at YPCIC. This bright emerald green "Maltsov" is from the Russian "Imperial" (Pre-Soviet) era. This is the one that Pavel Yelkin sometimes has available on E-bay. This is not the GIFONA-listed CD 579.5, which is quite a bit larger and taller. This may be classified as CD 547.

Color is somewhere between a true emerald green and a depression green. Not suer of the production dates of these, the "Imperial Crest" should indicate that it was made before 1917, and the Bolshevik revolution. The Glassworks which made this is more well known for art glass and crystalware. The factory and it's town are also known as "Crystal Goose" (Krystal-Gus)
