Very much on topic with the recent discussion George generated about CD 156.1 insulators. This is a CD 156.1 [010] Patent Other base embossed PAT SEP 13 1881. ONLY. It has some nice 3 dimensional milk ribbon in the skirt that continues down into the inner petticoat and then up over the dome. There is a round donut bubble floating above the pinhole in the dome glass. Embossing very strong and complete. Pretty tall too. Only 1 little nick on the upper wire groove and some slight roughness around the base. Condition is in my opinion excellent considering the rarity and the wire groove damage the base embossed New England pieces seem to have. $66.66 gets it shipped to your door. Very under rated.
