This unusual insulator has been rescued from the "international" meter gauge electric railroad Rimini to San Marino. The railroad was opened in 1932 and damaged by WW 2 fighting to the point that it never reopened. Track and poles are still partly in place, but nearly all insulators are broken, this is the only one I could find in good shape. It was used for the phone line and was made by Verbano.
