The photos didn't come out very clearly, so I just drew them on a piece of cardboard. These represent four different Russian CD 247.5 manufacturers. The Amber one is the "AIZ" or Proarmatura marking 19 АИЗ 63, the "M within a circle" is embossed on the inside of the skirt, and is upside down (W is not a Cyrillic letter), and the other two have "insulator symbols" of yet-to-be-determined manufacturers. The backwards "N" is the Cyrillic Alphabet version of "I" . The "flying saucer" one might be Yuznouralsk, so I've been told. The lower left one is apparently "Slavyansk" from Ukraine. The "backwards N" is the Cyrillic equivalent of the letter I, and could mean Izolyatora (insulator) or Iskra (spark). The "UFO" may be Yuznouralsk or another Slavyansk, still yet TBD and confirmed. The source of the AIZ in the upper left corner is here: http://www.insulators.ru/ |
