I didn't even know about this embossing until 3 days ago when I was going through some old boxes of past hunts. I found a couple of them. The one other things that I noticed is that there was a 1, 2, 3, or even a 4 on the domes and not just a 2 as the 2003 book implies. Anyway, you can see in this picture the 2 which is on the right above the photo date. The 3 is the one on the left. The 1 is the top insulator and is kind of blurry. The numbers are really small and a little worn, but visible. The 1 is about the size of an 1/8th inch but it a number, not a spot on the glass. You can have any one of the three you want. All in excellent condition with only a flea bite or so and maybe a little staining from their days on the desert floor. How about $13 post paid to your door? $8 for additional ones.
