here's a BPA (Bonneville Power Administration) substation in Kanasket Wa. Here, huge 400 - 500 kV lines (not sure exactly) come in from the dams on the columbia hundreds of miles away. they go through some circuit breakers and other equipment before leaving and continuing on to a suibstaion in Covington. sorry for the blurry picture.
