Here is a very cool look at some straw lines and a couple of shards of glass that created this very interestingly unique Dragon Shaped figure on the dome of a Hemingray Toll. I would like to hear from some of you collectors about this unique one of a kind events. This is a CD 121 HEMINGRAY No 16 with SDP with the run of the mill light blue aqua color. But the straw lines set this insulator apart from any other and is the only one of its kind. The straw lines have formed what appears to be a mythical Dragon or Sea Serpent with a pair of eyes and a flailing tongue. Also take notice to the ears, they are shards of glass from a previous pour or cullet. The ears have very sharp edges to prove that they are shards of glass. This Hemingray has been dubbed the Dragon Dome because of the vivid appearance. This is a real treasure to behold. |
