We had a brief "blizzard" (unpredicted!) in mid December 2005 which amounted to only a few inches of snow. But suddendly within two hours of so in the afternoon between 2PM -4PM. The winds and snow all of a sudden picked up very rapidly! With trees bending over (gusts to almost 70 MPH) I was able to capture these and the subsequent photos of Joe's outdoor display from his driveway. The howling wind and horizontally blowing snow was really hurting my skin so much that I couldn't proceed much further than these pictures. It got so dark the photocontrols on his lights came on. See the following pix for more details. FYI Cape Cod got hit the hardest (50 miles away) and electric service was out for several days in locations there from this same storm.
