I've been trying to catalog all of my insulators lately. I struggle sometimes with identifying CD numbers. Here's an example of two stars. They are different heighths and base widths. The skirt heighths are different. They have markedly different shaped and sized wire grooves. I have read Frank Sweis' Star Tracks article and viewed all of the photos and sketches I can search out, and I am ready to catalog these two both as CD 162, each from a different mold. If I am wrong, would somebody please straighten me out here? Update: Thanks, Richie Farmer for the help. The one on the right has no inner skirt. It is a CD 134. MERRY CHRISTMAS ALL.
