This is a side view of the last pole. Pacific Gas & Electric seems to have quite an agressive pole replacement program that I could see, after travelling along about 1000 miles of their system. But they still have some old stuff like this in service. Sort of an "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" attitude! I am glad I got these pics, since this old stuff may be gone tomorrow.
