Photo 2 shows the next poles including a single phase tap on another side street. Way in the distance you can see a pole with sky-blue insulators. It is rare to have this many older poles in a row today. The multiparts are mostly M-2751 and are oversized for 12 kv. This is common practice in coastal areas to combat leakage in the salt air and fog. Oddly, PG&E does not use "Fogbowls" in these areas, as other coastal utilities do.
