When I first spotted this on a sales table it stood out among all the other pieces on the table. The color is a very rich Blue, leaning towards Sapphire Blue! And its in VVNM+ condition (only two tiny scuff spots) Has the interesting button mold on top with a "V" inside it. The base is flawless and the cool embossing is bold: "(diamond) AM.INSULATOR CO. N.Y. DOUBLE PETTICOAT (diamond) PAT'D SEPT.13, 1881. NOV. 13, 1883."
